Have you ever wondered how to turn anxiety into a powerful performance tool? Or how to access your fearless singing voice even when under pressure- when the stakes are really high? How do we awaken to our own TRUE VOICE POWER and share that power in a way that feels really FREE and AUTHENTIC? Combining Expert Voice Skills with Tools for Awakening to your Highest Potential is my life’s work.  In this transformative singing workshop you will:

  • Learn my top three anti-anxiety performance tools.

  • Learn an easy sequence of powerful centering exercises to connect to your body and focus your mind.

  • Practice singing toning exercises for deep connection to your voice.

  • Learn Expert Voice Skills for more power and expanded range.

  • Receive laser focused coaching in a judgment free zone.

  • Experience the power of singing with others.

Dress comfortably for light movement.  Bring a pen+ journal and water bottle+snack. Bring a recording device (smart phone) for recording voice exercises.  Optional: Bring a short section (about one minute) of a song you’d like to work on during our open coaching.  You may sing it acapella or use your smart phone with back track/instrumental.
Martha Gleason is a long time Seacoast performer and local Voice Instructor of 20 years.  Most recent studies include the Estill Voice Model at New England Conservatory of Music in Boston and the CCM voice model at Shenandoah Conservatory in the Washington DC area. Favorite local performance venues include The Music Hall, Prescott Park, Seacoast Repertory Theatre and New Hampshire Theatre Project. Martha holds a degree in Theatre Arts from UCLA, is a recipient of the prestigious Carol Burnett Music Theatre Awards in Los Angeles, the National Music Theatre Awards in San Francisco, and a national scholarship winner from the American Music and Dramatic Academy in NYC.  She is an accredited member of NATS, the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
