Theatre artist Genevieve Aichele and vocal instructor Martha Gleason join forces in a workshop designed to help participants awaken to their true voice power and ability to connect with audiences in an authentic way.  Both Genevieve and Martha are public speaking coaches who work with clients to build confidence, transform anxiety into a powerful performance tool, and create strategic stories that inspire and motivate audiences.  For those who feel anxious about public speaking, those making a professional transition, or those who simply want to sharpen and upgrade their presentation skills.
 

Genevieve Aichele is a theatre artist – a performer, director, teacher and playwright. A resident of Portsmouth, NH, she received her degree in Music & Theatre for Community Programs from the University of New Hampshire in 1975, graduating summa cum laude. She is a co-founder and currently serves as artistic director of New Hampshire Theatre Project, based at the West End Studio Theatre in Portsmouth, NH, and has performed, directed and taught performing arts for over forty years throughout the United States, Europe and Hong Kong. Genevieve is a juried Roster Artist/Trainer for VSA-Arts International and the NH State Council on the Arts, has been an adjunct faculty member of the Plymouth State University Integrated Arts Graduate Program.  She has taught public speaking and community leadership at the University of New Hampshire and Great Bay Community College for the past eight years. She is an affiliate consultant with The Woodland Group and the Brown Center at UNH, and has worked with numerous corporate and individual business clients in presentation skills, public speaking, business storytelling and leadership. Sample clients include VF Timberland, Fuji Dimatix, Unitil, National Education Association, Gould Academy, Landy Management and City Year New Hampshire.
 
Martha Gleason is a long time Seacoast performer and Voice Instructor of 18 years. She loves helping students find their True Voice Power and awaken to their highest potential. As an ordained Ananda Minister, Martha has maintained a meditation practice for over twenty year and loves sharing transformational tools for accessing inner strength, power and calmness. She has made inner peace and divine joy her lifelong top priority. Martha thrives when she’s helping others access and, remain centered in, their own inner peace and joy. Most recent studies include the Ananda Leadership Course, Estill Voice Model at New England Conservatory of Music in Boston and the CCM voice model at Shenandoah Conservatory in the Washington DC area. Martha teaches meditation and leads chanting at the Ananda ME-NH center in York, ME and at the Portsmouth Public Library. Favorite local performance venues include The Music Hall, Prescott Park, Seacoast Repertory Theatre and New Hampshire Theatre Project. Martha holds a degree in Theatre Arts from UCLA, is a recipient of the prestigious Carol Burnett Music Theatre Awards in Los Angeles, the National Music Theatre Awards in San Francisco, and a national scholarship winner from the American Music and Dramatic Academy in NYC. She is an accredited member of NATS, the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
