Now in its fifth year, New Hampshire Theatre Project brings the Annual Storytelling Festival to
The Music Hall's Historic Theatre in the heart of Portsmouth, NH. The event will take place on Saturday, April 10 at 7pm for one night only. Five captivating storytellers will take to the stage to tell traditional and personal tales inspired by New Hampshire Theatre Project's 2020 - 2021 MainStage theme
What Are You Waiting For?
With stories of personal trials, overcoming adversity and finding joy in even the darkest of times these stories will be woven together by special guest host and master storyteller Genevieve Aichele, and the music of Randy Armstrong, a virtuoso musician with decades of experience in world fusion music.
An in-person audience will be invited into The Music Hall for the event as they follow official CDC and State guidelines for socially-distanced shows. Details on their protocols can be found
here. Live stream tickets are also available for this production.
The 5th Annual Storytelling Festival is featured in NHTP's 2020 - 2021 Season, which includes the virtual reading of Well-Behaved Women in partnership with Strawbery Banke Museum, brand new one-person shows as part of
SoloStage, the experimental performance lab
Tiny Mayhem, and the premiere of
The Uncertainty Principle as part of
We Don't Know What This Is Yet which includes a new podcast which captures the experiences of New Hampshire residents, particularly artists, during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Check out the rest of our season for information about purchasing tickets and ways to get involved!
